Are you a qualified Naturopath who is passionate about education and also enjoys selling? Due to company growth, we are seeking someone who is confident supporting retailers and practitioners at all levels both in the capacity as a member of the Technical Support Team at our head office in Napier (4 days a week)  and also as an on-road Area Manager for the Hawkes Bay region (1 day a week).  You would naturally need to be a people person and a good communicator. You would also be a fast learner and able to retain lots of information while being very well organized and computer literate.

FxMed is a well established and highly regarded distributor of trusted Practitioner brands from around the globe. We are passionate about Functional Medicine, offering functional testing and innovative, research-based nutraceuticals to a wide range of Practitioners. FxMed’s sister company NaturalMeds distributes quality international and local nutraceutical brands to mainly health shops and pharmacies.   The role supports both of these companies.

The Technical Support part of the role is a ‘front-line’ position, taking calls and answering e-mails from practitioners (which can include case discussions), retailers, consumers and our staff, supporting them with technical queries about our products and services. For the sales part of the role, you will need a full clean driver’s license and a reliable car (the company reimburses associated costs). There will be occasional overnight travel.

Full product training will be provided to the successful candidate. Qualified Practitioners of other modalities will be considered provided knowledge of Nutrition and Medical Herbalism can be demonstrated.   Previous clinical experience and/or Industry experience in a Technical or Sales role is desirable but not essential.  Applicants must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.
